Hi all,

It just gets better and better....

I just received a spam message from 'givemegiveme.com' which bares a
nifty "Member of Spamming Bureau" seal-of-approval, with big red letters
"Report Spam Here." Not surprisingly, the link goes to givemegiveme.com
-- not some third-party spam-fighting organization -- with a lengthy URL
variable, no doubt identifying the perpetrator of a click-thru.

Curious, I checked out the link, which forwards you to ShopAtHome's
'fine' selection of fashion catalogs, magazines, and much, much more.
No spam bureaus here. No sirree. Good thing I scrambled the URL
variable before visiting. I would presume that the link would otherwise
serve only to validate my e-mail address, welcoming in ever more lies
and deceipt.

We crossed the "amoral" red-line way back. Are we at "evil" yet? I'm
sure these folks are very, very proud.

Dave
