Guys, Nobody uses Finger anymore, right? Well, check this out: with a few cosmetic tweaks to chgplan.html, pchgplan.html, and dropdown.cgi, you can give your users a fully IMail-served per-user blacklist, with the data stored in the unused PLAN.IMA and users none the wiser. Combine this with a change in the language of ab.html to make ALIASES.TXT (the Address Book) double as the per-user whitelist, and you've got files updateable by users and readable by a Declude external test. (You could also combine the whitelist and blacklist into a single management page, of course.)
Another reuse option for PLAN.IMA: if you want to hardcode your anti-spam options and just let the user select LOW-MEDIUM-HIGH sensitivity, just change the TEXTAREA to a SELECT and proceed accordingly. As long as the object has the same name (textplan), the selection is posted to the file perfectly. Just don't tell Ipswitch that Finger is falling into disuse! :) -Sandy --- [This E-mail was scanned for viruses by Declude Virus (http://www.declude.com)] --- This E-mail came from the Declude.JunkMail mailing list.
