>When you say 'automate your updates', does that mean a copy of the sniffer database files are located on the Imail server for speed of processing. Yes, the database gets downloaded from the ftp site, hopefully at least daily (you decide). There is a batch file called AutoSNF on the ftp site (I think) that you can use (with customizations) to dl the database. I have modified mine to do some other stuff, like logging and notifications via email of good or bad downloads, and it works quite well. I have it set up as a program alias so whenever Sniffer releases an updated database (several times a day), the email triggers the program alias, which then: 1) Uses wget to download the database; log success or failure. 2) Retries up to 3 times if failed, logging success or failure 3) Runs SNF2Check and logs the results 4) Renames old database to .old 5) Renames new database to .snf 6) Uses blat to send out notifications of success or failure via email. I still have some things to work out when I get a chance, such as disposition of the original "trigger" email from Sniffer, but other than that everythings working great. And all in a simple batch file, too! Dan Horne, CCNA Systems Administrator TAIS Web Wilcox World Travel & Tours [EMAIL PROTECTED]
