Country is set up as a test,

COUNTRY filter d:\imail\declude\country.txt x 5 0

Using the country.txt file I got from Kami. Has listings as follows:

COUNTRIES 1 CONTAINS NC

That's the catch -- "COUNTRIES" will check *all* the countries that an E-mail went through, whereas "COUNTRY" will just check the country of the last hop.

So in the case of the E-mail that went from 153.96.24.3 to 156.21.1.21 to you, COUNTRY would just look at 156.21.1.21, whereas COUNTRIES would look at both. Since 153.96.24.3 is in Germany, and 156.21.1.21 is in the U.S., "COUNTRIES 1 CONTAINS DE" would catch the E-mail, whereas "COUNTRY 1 CONTAINS DE" would not (DE is the 2-character country code for Germany).
