Let's see, I currently support 2 IMail servers, 4 Post.Office servers, 2
Postfix servers, 3 Siemens E-Mail encryption servers, and an Exchange
server--nah, I don't need to setup anymore mail servers. ;-)

Actually, our hosted healthcare customers are the ones hosted on our
IMail/Declude server, and these are the customers that we deliver lab,
radiology, eligibility, and claims reports to. These are private and
confidential patient healthcare data, thus these messages are not currently
distributed across the Internet. These are the customers that we monitor
systems for, and who get system notifications from us, and who get bounce
notifications from our gateways, all of which are currently virus scanned
and spam filtered unnecessarily.

If you check, you will find that even outbound messages from the hosted
IMail customers get sent through the Declude filter engine, even if you have
opted to not scan outbound messages. I am just looking for ways to run this
server more efficiently, and if Declude were to make a couple of process
configuration changes, I think we could all benefit.

Scott, I'm just wondering what your thoughts are on these proposed changes?

Bill
