Does anyone have any information about FIVETENIGNORE?
C:\data\ftp\ip4r.htm says "Lists IP ranges of companies that ignore spam complaints. Warning: May block large ISPs. NOTE: If you are listed, you can find the address to get removed on their page ('blackhole')."
I ran the spam database lookup at dnsstuff.com on my mail IP (208.151.247.238) and it shows the
following:
Reports CNAME of cw.net.spam-support.blackholes.five-ten-sg.com.
I'm guessing they have blocked all Cable & Wireless IPs.
FIVETENIGNORE apparently has a connection between my domains and cw.net in its database. I
co-locate, and my provider has multiple backbones, so I guess they might have a Cable and Wireless
backbone (cw.net). Could this be what they are talking about?
That's probably it.
Anyone have experience getting off this list?
You can try, and if you are lucky, they will "whitelist" you IP address. However, since you use C&W, and they intentionally want to block it, there is a good chance they won't remove you.
Unfortunately, IMail v8's anti-spam will now block E-mail failing this test by default, even though they block huge IP ranges.
