Look at the new challenge response we just received. There is no way to fix this problem.

It's coming from a broken program (broken as in "non-RFC-compliant") called "MailSword" (at least they admit it's a beta!). We just got one, too, after posting to the IMail Forum.


The person running this program will quickly learn that he will no longer receive E-mail from the IMail Forum -- or most other mailing lists. It's cute, and works well if [1] well implemented, and [2] few people use it. On a large scale, or with broken programs like MailSword, it's doomed to failure.
