Hello, All, We are using DJM Pro. I have attached a spam message I'm trying to figure out how to block. I've seen a ton of these in the last week or so.
The first batch that came through I added the phone number to my JunkMail.Filter.Body.Phone.txt. The second batch that came through had all of these crazy characters separating the text in the message. Will my filter still catch these with the new way the spammer decided to try?
We generally build rules to capture obfuscation techniques like this into Message Sniffer. After that the content doesn't matter because the obfuscation itself is distinct enough from normal email.
In many of these cases some kind of advanced pattern matching is generally required ... something like reg-ex, but hopefully much more efficient.
