Here is an app I just turned on line and my users love it they get a daily email report of the email that have been held on the server for them. It could not be any easier. Also a raw copy of the email is sent to the mail administrator for analyzing. This is passive for the email account if they do not have any held email they will not get the report.
It is great for me as the admin because the users are better at determining what is a false positive. It is also configurable as to which domains/users you want to send reports to. As you can see there is a link to our email server for message requeuing. This eliminates the need for seperate folders per domain Knowing my user base by creating them something that has them looking through emails on a server would not go over well and what is the difference from just having the mail delivered to their inbox with SPAM in the subject line?? They also would still call the help desk just for us to say did you look at your held email on the server.
