i put this question on imail forum but did not get the answer i wan to upgrade from 7.15 to 8, but i do not want it to interferer with junkmail is there any default setting in 8 that will cause it to hold/delete spam ?
They've changed the settings around a bit, but you need to be very careful to make sure that the IMail v8 anti-spam functionality is disabled (unless you want it enabled). Some people have found it very hard to turn off.
i rememember many users having problems with default settings, but when I installed on a test server, no v8 action defaulted to hold/delete maybe ipswitch changed all defaults meanwhile?
I believe they did change the defaults.
