I'm trying to gather some information about small businesses whose E-mail is being blocked by AOL (as well as information on small businesses using cable or DSL that are *not* being blocked).

If your E-mail is being blocked by AOL (or you are not being blocked by AOL, and use cable or DSL), could you please E-mail me (off-list, to [EMAIL PROTECTED])? If possible, I would be interested in knowing:

[1] What type of Internet connection you have (DSL, cable, T1, etc.),
[2] Whether the E-mails are bouncing immediately (with a message such as "Unknown user"), bouncing some time later (with a message such as "Delivery failed after 96 attempts"), or if bounce messages are being sent directly from AOL (typically with a return address of "Mail Delivery Subsystem <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>")
[3] Would you be willing to be contacted by the media about the problem of legitimate E-mail being blocked?

Other useful information would be log file entries, whether you know why the E-mail is being blocked, if you have had any contact with AOL in getting removed, etc. However, the above 3 questions are the most important.

All information will be kept confidential (with the exception of anyone willing to be contacted by the media, in which case your contact information may be passed on).
