A correction is in order I believe.  According to John's site, his application counts how often you send messages to a particular address instead of how many messages are received from that address. You can define exactly how much negative points should receive any message from a sender that was already in contact with the recipient n times. My opinion is that is more usefull then addressbock-whitelisting because it works automatically without any user interaction.
