Anyone know if there is a way to setup declude/imail to do what spamarrest.com is doing? This sounds like it may be a nice solution for some customers.
Which part of what they are doing -- harvesting the E-mail addresses that send you to your customers, then spamming them, and selling those addresses? Spamarrest does that.
Seriously, though, the confirmations have several drawbacks. One of the biggest is the legal issue (some guy claims a patent on them). Next is that it ends up offloading spam from you to someone else (the return address that the spammer uses will get the confirmation), which doesn't end up reducing spamat all. Then, there are major issues with mailing lists that you are already on (many poor SpamArrest-like implementations will send to the entire list), and mailing lists and other automated E-mail you want but can't get because the confirmations don't go to anyone.
