I think it works well for specific organizations. For example, I found out about the product because I tried to contact one of
my vendors and was presented with the need for authentication. I figure that this probably helps the sales team as they have
little need to be contacted by random parties. Note: This presupposes that the contact process is "screened" somehow.
Note 2: I should not have had to authenticate with anybody at the company as I was already a known client-- I chalk this up
to poor challenge/response management. Here's a good article on points to consider when implementing C/R.

Does C/R work well at a broad ISP level? I don't know. I'd be really leary of implementing C/R as a first or single test if I didn't understand
the organization better.

Again - with a weight-based system, they would not lose any email - as long as the online shop manages to stay off black-lists, has a valid RDNS, has a valid Hostname, etc. Assuming it's tied to a weight-based system, I see them as a great opportunity to 'tighten the noose' without blocking legitimate email.
