I'm assessing http://www.njabl.org/contribute.html.
Where does Declude fit into this? When declude looks up black lists, does it connect DIRECTLY to each black-lists DNS server - or does it query through the Imail (or Declude) DNS server?
Declude JunkMail will connect to your local DNS server (the first one listed in the IMail SMTP settings).
So if you are running a DNS server on the same machine that IMail is running on (requirement #1) and it is set up so that only the local machine can query it (requirement #2), then the IMail/DNS side of the requirements will be met.
This does indeed sound like it is very promising.
