I just went back to i8. Somewhere between i8 and i12, the handling of aliases broke.
Situation:
a) User sends a single email to a single alias: "<mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
b) The alias distributes to 12 mailboxes
c) Declude (with Interim I12) counts it as 12 recipients when applying the "ByPassMultiRecp" test - that means it bypasses my whitelist for the user's IP range because Declude thinks the user sent an email to 12 users (which he did not)
d) The declude generated bounce message does show 12 times the same alias as being the receipients - even though I have confirmed that the user only typed it ONCE.
Do you have the IMail log file entries for this E-mail? Those should be useful in fixing this.
