The info was there, however I will give you that the archive is incomplete and these things can be hard to follow.
Please note the gentile nudge to research the more obvious/common questions in the archive, manual and release notes before posting. To some, the repetitive posts are somewhat of a nuisance, but for those asking the questions, you will likely find more complete information from what has already been said, and that's a benefit to you. Someday, Scott will have UBB set up with a voice response system and neural interface so that the collective knowledge of the hive will become instantaneously available to one and all. I believe he said he would have that ready for the next beta :)
Below is Scott's first post on the subject when this functionality was introduced.

We've just added a new test to the latest interim release, called CMDSPACE. This one looks for spaces in SMTP commands where there shouldn't be any.
It is catching about 75% of the spam to the spamtraps here, and since we started using it, only 1 of the approximately 500 legitimate E-mails that came in was caught. It looks like this could be a good test until spammers change their spamware.
To use it, you need the latest interim release (from http://www.delude.com/interim ), and need to use the following line in your \IMail\Declude\global.cfg file to define the test:
CMDSPACE cmdspace x x 8 0
(where "8" is the weight you want to assign to the test).
