Is there a good way to stop
spam that uses periods to separate words? For example, alot of this type
of spam comes in where the words are "disguised" with periods. For
example:
Manhoo.d
Mem.ber
Pen.is
This is a making me
crazy! I can't stop these. I know I need to read up more on
"tweaking" declude to stop these but how do others in the forum stop
these? I am leery to make changes when I don't understand clearly. I
think it should be stopped using "weighting". However, I am real foggy on
the weighting stuff and I don't feel comfortable setting up weights yet.
Can anyone make it clear how the weighting works? I have read over and
over the weighting and I think I am making it harder than it is.
Approaching it at a higher level than need be....I just don't
know.
Sorry for the
frustration...can anyone help me stop these kind of messages? I work for a
school district and although the staff here are patient, I'm not and I want to
find a way to stop it....come heck or high water!
