Ah -- that's why the IGNORE action was used for all the tests. Declude JunkMail detected that it was an outgoing E-mail, in which case the outgoing actions from the \IMail\Declude\global.cfg file are used.

Sorry, I was trying to speak your language. Just to clarify...

This is a gatewayed domain (outgoing as per the way Declude treats it). 99.999% of the time (or close to that), it works fine, however a couple of times a week it seems I am finding these messages in the spool file showing similar characteristics.

I was trying to explain that the per-domain file that has all of those actions listed was not actually being used by Declude for this message. While it was scored, every last item that is controlled by the proper $Default$.junkmail wasn't used. Instead of the spool file being locked, I was thinking that the OS might have prevented Declude from accessing the $Default$.junkmail file for this domain if I was updating it at that very instant (I have no idea if I was, but will watch for it if it is possible). I'm concerned because the only time I will find such a message in my spool is when the destination account no longer exists, so it may be happening more frequently than just a couple times per week. I've not asked about this before because I wanted to see if it was reproducible, and while very rare, it is.

As far as the looping goes, I'm thinking this is more likely to be IMail's fault myself, though curiously, it suggests that the HOSTS file also wasn't accessible? All files in this case are on the same logical drive on a RAID 5 array. Hiccup???
