yes, this are my current weights, but we hold on 100.
So we assign 5, 10 or 20% of our current hold weight, for countries outside the EU or USA.

This works very fine: 19% of all incomming messages are identified by this filter as spam by having around 1% of wrong results. (legit messages comming from this countries)

Keep in mind that not all Mailservers has the same type of users and international traffic. So if you want to use this filter I reccomend to score it lower, and watch how it works before increasing the weight.

Markus,

Are the weights in the country code file what you use? What weight do you block/delete at?

Hi Dan,

Attached you can find a NON WORKING country filter file. At the end of every line you can find the full name of the country.

Subject: [Declude.JunkMail] Country Code for Palestine?

All,

Does anyone know what the Country Code for Palestine is?  I just received an e-mail which Declude's X-COUNTRY-CHAIN identified as Palestine yet the "official" country code list, http://www.iana.org/cctld/cctld-whois.htm, makes no mention of Palestine.

Thanks In Advance,

Dan Geiser
