Any one dealing with users or clients or recipients that may be using Microsoft CRM, take note:
E-mail messages sent from/via/through Microsoft CRM will fail SUBJECTSPACES and LONGSUBJECT type tests. This is because CRM automatically adds tracking information to the subject line. Here is a response I received from a 3rd party supporting MS CRM: "This is by design. The GUID is required to be on the subject line. The GUID is picked up by the CRM Email Exchange Router on incoming and outgoing email. When the GUID is detected by the router an activity is created in CRM with the associated GUID records. This GUID is known to be picked up by spam filters." A way of countering this is this line in the header: (You could also include Version 1.2) X-Mailer: MSCRM Version 1.0 If any one needs more information on this, feel free to contact me off list.
