Copying to the Spool directory will result in Declude not being called, it will be picked up by the queue which doesn't call helper apps.  I believe that you can place the files in the spool directory and call the declude executable with the full path name of the Q file and have it rescanned.  I could be wrong about this, and you also have to watch out that the queue doesn't run while the files are sitting in the spool.

If he copied both files (Q* and D*) into the spool directory wouldnt Declude
*not* be called? My understanding is that Declude is called by the smtpd
process before the smtp process. Declude than hands it off to smtp32 for
delivery. I suspect he would have to copy the Q* to the overflow and place
the d*.smd in spool folder. I would suggest copying the d*.smd prior to the
Q*.smd.

Edit the Qxxxx.smd file so that your own addressee information is listed
instead of the regular addressee. If it is delivered, it goes to your own
mailbox instead of the original user.

Then copy the Qxxxx.smd and and Dxxxx.smd file into your C:\IMail\Spool
folder and wait for your IMail to notice the message on its next queue

run.

If you want to hurry it up even more and you have lots of messages

whizzing

in and out, copy the Dxxxx.smd to C:\IMail\Spool folder and the Qxxxx.smd

to

your C:\IMail\Spool\Overflow folder. I'll leave the explanation for why
this is faster for you as homework.

Subject: [Declude.JunkMail] How can I rescan a message ?

I have a message that was held as spam a couple days ago and I want to
switch to logging mode to determine what in the words filter it matched,

and

what the badheaders code was (didn't have warn for badheaders on this
domain).

How can I run this message through Declude again? Without having the

message

resent.
