I had high hopes that IMail's "Connection" Filtering - really meant that it was doing the filtering DURING the SMTP connection (like ORF does for Windows SMTP).

But, judging from the log files, it does appear as if Connection Filtering FIRST accepts a message and only deletes it AFTER the fact.

In that case, I might as well have Declude continue to handle those black-lists - or am I missing something?

You're not missing anything -- Ipswitch for whatever reason decided to run the DNSBLs after the connection is terminated.


By using Declude, you get the weighting system, and the tests are run more quickly.
