I'm referring to creating the virtual domain on the inbound/front-end server.
The real domain on the mailbox server is "yourdomain.com" Per Sandy's instructions, I'm creating a "fully qualified OHN" on the inbound server of "storeforward.yourdomain.com" To make this work, that new domain on the inbound server needs a HOST ALIAS (not user alias, but host alias) defined for "yourdomain.com" so it will accept inbound mail and relay it. Please let me know why you think this is wrong? -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of John Tolmachoff (Lists) Sent: Saturday, November 13, 2004 8:01 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [Declude.JunkMail] [OT] ldap2alias/alias2ldap - finer points > On the front-end/inbound mail server, you should create the virtual domain normally > and be sure to set the host alias. NO! When you create the virtual domain, it should be created as yourdomain.com. That is all. No aliases. --- [This E-mail was scanned for viruses by Declude Virus (http://www.declude.com)] --- This E-mail came from the Declude.JunkMail mailing list.
