I understood the lingo.  Others have used similar notation and asked
similar questions on the list.

After checking out the webpage, I did remember something about this.

Another guy tried the same thing years and years ago, with alter.net
(?); he argued that Network Solutions (the only registrar at the time)
had no monopoly and that DNS could easily be extended.  I'm sure that he
planned to make a fortune on just .sex and .god; he went rogue at one
point and managed to use DNS poisoning to redirect a lot of TLD traffic
his way for advertising purposes before he was shut down.  His domain
was eventually just parked at a personal site.

This company is quasi-legit; they are trying to position themselves as
an alternate registrar when ICANN does open the door, and they've got
litigation to show for it.

If people want .sport addresses, they're cutting off name resolution,
but not routing, to everybody else.  At this point I don't think it has
any antispam ramifications.
