I know what he is talking about. Every so often I get messages that include the headers and another copy of the message in the body. This viewing the message(s) in Firefox, Mozilla Mail(1.6), and IMail web interface.
Acts like the POP or IMAP server gets confused about where in the message ( or possible mbox file) and tries again.
This is typically when they are large messages. My most common is a 500+ line report.
