True. All I was trying to understand, from what some were reporting about higher CPU usage, was if they really meant there were higher peaks and valleys or it they were indeed seeing sustained higher CPU usage.
Based on the information presented, it appears as if we're talking about peaks and valleys instead of higher CPU usage. The peaks and valleys can then be controlled via the settings provided. Slight differences in efficiency from one interim release to another could then explain why CPU peaks and valleys would be different, therefore requiring different settings to throttle CPU usage.
