Markus, There is currently no need to restart the Decludeproc service when you change a filter or configuration file; files are read for each message processed, just as with the versions of Declude prior to 3.x.
This will not always be the case, however, as we continue to streamline and modify the product. If and when it becomes necessary to restart the service after file modification, we will make it clear to our users. You should be aware of the diags.txt file that is created by the Decludeproc service. It is created once, after the service has started and the first email has been processed. It is not created again, unless the service is restarted. So, if you modify your global.cfg while the Decludeproc service is running, the changes will be seen immediately by the system, but the changes will not be reflected in the diags.txt file unless the service is restarted.
