I am seeing a
problem that shows up every so often.
Here is the
actions:
WEIGHT-HOLD-85-S SUBJECT
[85]:[~%WEIGHT%~]
WEIGHT-HOLD-85-C COPYTO [EMAIL PROTECTED]
WEIGHT-HOLD-85-M MAILBOX spam
WEIGHT-HOLD-85-C COPYTO [EMAIL PROTECTED]
WEIGHT-HOLD-85-M MAILBOX spam
COPYTO goes to a
central account where we can check the spam for all domains and adjust our spam
filters ..
The idea is for
spam of a certain weight a copy go to that account and then for the email to be
moved to the spam mailbox of the user.
The problem is the
spam email sometimes is delivered to the user and a copy goes to the spam
mailbox. It seems like the MAILBOX moves a copy of the email to the
mailbox and still delivers the email to the main mailbox.
The manual states
that MAILBOX action moves the email and does not copy it.
Any ideas as to
what is going on? Is this a problem with my filter or an undocumented
feature?
