Dave, Here is the latest reply I received from SmarterTools Regarding this issue:
"This has been verified as intended action. We do not see this as a bug. If you feel it is a security hazard, do not view HTML messages. Within SmarterMail, simply set the default view to Plain Text, and not HTML. If you feel a message is safe, view it in the HTML mode manually." Maybe you will have better lunk convincing them otherwise.
