Are you using IMail? We have the need for this with multiple departments so we set up another IMail domain linked to a virtual internal IP. So no incoming can be delivered. Then in the outbound rules: If To address does not contain @ourdomain.com then Delete.
But since you're just doing it for a single user you can modify the rules to include that username AND the To/From domains to just delete the e-mail. With no relay the server would only deliver mail for the local domains. I use this sometimes because I do SMTP authentication.
