My bad...  Been running 1 for the longest time.  Going to set it up as a
service that'll restart if it fails, BUT that doesn't answer the question as
to why it's dying.  Right now I have 2 running in the hopes that if one
dies, the other won't... :)

Well,  I'm not sure that you mean SPAMD.EXE -- the SpamAssassin client
I  distribute  is  SPAMC32.EXE  -- and I'd like to think of it as more
than  "borrowing,"  since  it  is  a  publicly  released, albeit free,
product. :)

Anyway...  my  first question would be how many SPAMD children you are
running?
