I am using IMAIL
8.11, windows 2003, declude version 4 (or whatever fancy name it has
now)
A few of my clients
have mailing lists they send out which result in quite a few NDR (non delivery
receipts).
(The emails are sent
from a different server using jmail and the ndr messages go back to the imail
server if they cant be delivered.)
These ndr's then
clog up the imail queue causing a few temporary problems especially when they
mail out during the middle of the business day.
The problem I have
is that imail tries to deliver all the ndr email as well as normal email and the
imail queue manager falls over until I restart it.
Is there a rule I can put in the declude config file which
will put any ndr emails into a hold folder? (kind of like the blacklist
rules)
The idea
I have is to have any ndr files put nto a folder on the imail server, then in
the middle of the night, have a script which puts them all into the spool and
deleiver them while the server is quiet.
