2 cents here. I have had very, very few issues that may have been
related to Windows 2003, and some of my servers get pounded on. It is
the most stable platform that I have used to date, and it is definitely
more secure by default than 2k. YMMV of course.

Windows 2003. So far all reporting the problem are running Windows 2000
server.

For those that may have a TS server I noticed a string of forum posts

indicates one of the MS Patches from August "KB917422 MS06-051 no longer
allows you to read or write INI files from anywhere other than the
Windows
folder"
I only bring this up because I know Imail uses an ini file for web
messenging and its possible some may have TS in app mode - you never
know.

Check postings on the IMail newsgroup today. It has been reported to
be
an
issue with KB917953 from June. Most likely something in this weeks
patches
in combination with KB917953 triggered this.
