My boss happened across this article and asked me if Declude/McAfee NetShield fell into this category.
Can Some Viruses Duck Server-Based Traps? http://www.pcworld.com/news/article/0,aid,84644,00.asp Sounds like these viruses are somehow hidden by manipulating the headers. I am not much of an expert on email headers and they don't go into too much detail. They go on to say that server-based scanners that do not scan the entire message may not catch this kind of "hidden" virus. Anyone know what they're talking about? And would Declude/McAfee have such a flaw? --Todd. --- [This E-mail was scanned for viruses by Declude Virus (http://www.declude.com)] This E-mail came from the Declude.Virus mailing list.
