I will be installing Declude Virus Pro today on a high volume machine and I need to know what is the fastest virus scanner to use. Seems that most use some version of F-Prot. I see that they have a DOS and Windows version available. My thinking is that the DOS version will be smaller and cleaner code than the Windows version, but I could be wrong. The Windows version will probably be 32-bit and that could make it faster than the 16-bit DOS version. I'm confused!
Since this server kicks out up to 100,000 messages a day I need speed. What do you recommend as the fastest and best virus scanner for Declude?
