How many E-mails do you send/receive per day on this server?

You're dealing with a load about 300 times your normal volume.
Check the E-mail, and see what it is. Are those thousands of extra E-mails spam? Viruses? A mail loop?
What are your current SCANFILE and REPORT lines from your virus.cfg file?
SCANFILE D:\FSI\F-Prot\fpcmd.exe /TYPE /SILENT /NOMEM /ARCHIVE /DUMB /REPORT=report.txt
So there is no REPORT line? You should have:
