Hmmm....we are currently already using McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 7.0 with
engine 4.2.60 and Dat version 4304 (Nov 14.) I use a batch file to copy the
DAT files daily to the folder for use be the command line scanner after the
McAfee auto-update. Our mail servers are updated daily with the latest DAT
files and engine using McAfee Auto-update Architect so I am puzzled how the
message could contain a detectible virus when you received it and how it not
only got in through 3 levels of inbound virus protection, but also how did
it get to you from me with 3 levels of outgoing virus protection.

It was indeed sent in response to a post to this list.

I double-checked, and it appears that the message was indeed sent in a way
that should be safe (not executable). I'm guessing that we have a virus
scanner here that tries to look for viruses within E-mails, but doesn't do
it properly. It was caught here as W32/[EMAIL PROTECTED]

I would recommend upgrading to the latest version of McAfee (.exe file) as
well as downloading the latest virus definitions.
