I'm running 7McAfee AV Enterprise Edition 7.1 and doing daily sdat (beta) updates. I haven't had any problems other than with the in built scheduler. That problem was
fixed easy enough, but shortly thereafter I went to doing an update via a batch file and scheduler to stay up to date. I think McAfee's scheduler will download and install .upd files if you'd rather stay away from the beta definitions.
