I had "PRESCAN OFF" in my virus.cfg. Not caught when scanned via Declude - caught when the raw D*.SMD file was manually scanned via the command prompt using the same switches that were in the virus.cfg file.
OK, in that case, it was probably the same as the second issue (the AV program was expecting the E-mail headers).
