No, not really.. If someone puts redirects on the http then they are no
longer a valid debian mirror at that location. 

I've told a number of mirror maintainers this and hopefully netgod will
fix his site tomorrow.

Yes it would be nice to print out the redirection target, but even then
that's of questionable value.
  
I -don't- want to legitimize the use of redirects by adding support for
them, they should not be used by debian mirrors.
