Package: apt Version: 0.3.19 Severity: normal I'm stuck with an apt problem: Since about two weeks, apt's http method doesn't work any more. The machine is a mixed woody/potato installation; libc6 and friends are now all from woody (and I have the suspicion that the problem came after updating some of them). A potato machine in the same network still works, and a woody machine on another network also still works. the ftp method also seems to work.
I'm lost how to debug this problem, I didn't find a debug switch in apt-get. The errors look like this: freefly;3# apt-get update Err http://security.debian.org potato/updates/main Packages Could not connect to security.debian.org (132.229.131.40). Err http://non-us.debian.org potato/non-US/main Packages Could not connect to non-us.debian.org (132.229.131.40).
