Package: apt Version: 0.3.19 Severity: normal I have installed gdm several months earlier. I have used "apt-get upgrade" to get to the current state (gdm 2.0-0.beta4-helix12). It uses sessreg in a pre-session initialisation script, which is in the xutils package. GDM failed to log in users, because this package was not installed, although it is in its dependency list.
