Package: python-apt
Version: 0.5.4.3
Severity: important

I'm trying to install apt-listchanges in testing which depends on
python-apt. Python-apt depends on a couple of packages which don't seem
to appear anywhere. Here is the output within dselect:

    python-apt depends on libapt-inst-libc6.2-3-2-1.0
libapt-inst-libc6.2-3-2-1.0 does not appear to be available
    python-apt depends on libapt-pkg-libc6.2-3-2-3.2
libapt-pkg-libc6.2-3-2-3.2 does not appear to be available

 Package: apt
 Version: 0.5.4
 [...]
 Provides: libapt-pkg-libc6.2-3-2-3.2

 Package: apt-utils
 [...]
 Provides: libapt-inst-libc6.2-3-2-1.0

Both packages are in testing. It sounds like you are probably running a
mixed testing/unstable system and are trying to use python-apt in testing
with apt in unstable, or something like that. You need the python-apt which
corresponds to your version of apt.
