Hi,
Im still using some of the TurboPower components like OfficePartner for reporting and Onguard but theyre opensource and like a lot of opensource projects they die because of there isnt anyone looking properly after the code (make sure there are updates etc). Have a look at the TRegistry class or TRegIniFiles class in Delphis online help for example on using the registry. Hi I have been using the old TurboPower Onguard components to implement reduced functionality demo's that can be released via a key. I followed the basic idea in their tutorials and used ini files to store data. I would like the option to store the data in the registry so that it is less obvious, but what keys should i generate do store this info? What happens if by some fluke i try generating a key that already exists? Thanks Pete PS Does anyone else use the Onguard components? They seemed quite good in their day, but I dont see much about them anymore. ----------------------------------------------------- Home page: HYPERLINK "http://groups.yahoo.com/group/delphi-en/"http://groups.yahoo.com/group/delp hi-en/ To unsubscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _____ Yahoo!
