Well, then you'll need to have an access to some sort of a web-interface (SMS-gate) for sending SMS', won't you? In that case, there's either an "API" published by this interface - so the only thing you have to do is probably send the data there via POST or GET HTTP methods - no specific SMS component needed here - or you have to set up your own SMS server.
