That is one thing keeping me from upgrading.  I use Delphi 5 for all my
client server programming.  I am worried that upgrading will simply
increase the size of my .Exe's with no increase in functionality.

I know I should keep up with the times, but my clients needs have been
satisfied with Delphi 5's abilities and much of the improvements to
Delphi have been in areas that are more faddish than useful.

Someday I need to investigate Lazarus to see if it will do for me what I
need it to do.
