I guess I continue to be happy with Delphi because I only do Win32 and I'll continue to do so for a while. That might change once Vista hits the desktops, but for the moment I'm a happy Delphi7 developer doing Win32 programmes!
Also I'm in a funny position here because my competition is ALSO using Delphi, and they're using Delphi6 with waaaay less 3rd party controls (yes, I did sneak a peek, I also "decompiled" my competition and took a look at the dfm's). So I'm asking: How does Delphi compare to Visual Studio when developing for Win32? I'm not interested in language difference, I'm mostly interested in library functionality, 3rd party control availability, ease of use (and ease in employing programmers), ease of debugging. __________________________________________________ Delphi-Talk mailing list -> [email protected] http://www.elists.org/mailman/listinfo/delphi-talk
