To be honest I really don't know!  When I picked my copy of the
Academic version 2003 VS for NET I didn't notice a comparable listing for it
without .NET, so perhaps it's something that can be enable/disabled, or
perhaps they've actually stopped writing new compilers for Win32?  All I DO
know for sure is that Chrome is for .NET only!
