You are right.
I turned on the Optimization to increase the speed but I got only problems.
Later, spending 6 hours (and turning optimizations off) I managed to decrease 
the processing time
for some strings from 40 seconds to only 3.5 .

I spent 4 hours to find out from where I got the problem with the Optimization 
on (somebody from
this email-list helped me).
In that time I could optimize my self the program more.
